I can create CS on the part (for example: connector with CS located at pin 1) and save it as pkg. Save part in STEP does not save the CS, is there work around?

flag can't follow mouse in Annotation
It istorments me with the question.
Since when Creo Elements Direct v19.0 becomes to lag in the Annotation
The flag can't move to follow the mouse flag speed in the Annotation of elements direct.
I find that it occur in Nvidia GT640 , GT740, w540. It happen in the Nvidia.
I don't know how can I handle it.
Maybe Nvida option could solve it,but I don't know how can I set.
I opened the code to PTC and He say the graphics card didn't fit their specification.
He told me to set SDPIXELFORMAT and SOFTWARE in Environment Variables of windows.
It was a slight follow the mouse flag in Annotation, But it happen the flag was lag in the Molding.
So the Enviroment Variables can't solve this problem.
Someone can't use high specification computer, like PTC suggest computer specification to high price, they restrict by their company.
Because my computer is not Nvidia , I can't try the question.
I need someone help me.
How can I set the Nvidia option ?

How do I save images of parts that are suitable for patent applications (i.e. no shading, single outline edges)?
Hi.
I have parts designed in Elements/Direct that I need to save as images for submission in a patent application. These images must not have any shading and single black outline edges else they will be rejected.
I have experimented in the Part Properties and Realism pop-out menu, but can't get what I need. The best I can do is to turn off 3d shading in the Realism menu and just show the edges. However, with these settings, faces that curve away out of view do not have a line showing that surface that you see tangentially from that perspective. Hope you know what I mean.
What settings do I need to choose or is there some other way to generate unshaded images with solid black edge outlines?

How to built a milling cutter tool?
Hi Guys!
I wantthe enclosed workpiece (rectangular, horizontal) with a milling process (cylinder). This means that I move this milling cutter through my workpiece and everything it touches this is cut away. That is: I move the milling cutter many times back and forth and up and down. I suppose so from material.
What do exactly I need in order to declare this round column to a milling cutter, so that it will do so if I move it through the workpiece?
Please no other ideas to take away material / subtract. I want to make this in exactly this way. And me to create various tools (cutters, drills).
Moving/handling of the milling cutter tool: Modeling - Position - Dynamic. So that I can control my tools in all 3 directions.

Positive Space
How do I move a part into "Positive Space"?
I am trying to save the model as an .stl file for use with other software and get the Warning "The part is in negative space. Move it if the part needs to be in positive space for the rapid prototyping process.". I have tried moving the part around, but it appears that the origin and coordinate system move with it keeping the part in negative space. I also tried changing the options for saving a file as .stl, but nothing can be changed (see attachments).
While I'm asking, how did I get into negative space in the first place, and how can I tell whether I am in positive or negative space?

How do I create, delete, and change layers
I am currently working on a big project with my company and I am needing to use layers. I have looked on PTC e-support but it isn't offering any help, I have followed the articles for help first but it hasn't done anything for me. why does model disappear when trying to add blends?
I am using Creo direct modeling 19.0 and have a model of the thermoform tray with several cavities. When I try to add a blend to any one of the edges, the model disappears. Sometimes, in the structure tree, several copies of the model show up, but the screen is blank. I have tried using constant and variable radii. I cannot using extrude cut with the corner fillets in the 2D, because that yields a cone, because the cavity walls have a draft angle. Also, almost every modification I make on the model turns it into a face part.

Exploded View becomes un-exploded
I exchanged some parts with different parts. I then activated the exploded configuration to position the parts where I wanted them.
After doing UPDATE_LAYOUT on the layout view, the explosion collapsed, so none of the parts were exploded anymore.
I know that I can just go back into Annotation Module and re-create the view, but I would like to avoid that step.
This happens only occasionally and I haven't figured out what triggers it.
Any idea what's going on?

Creo Direct Modeling 17.0: Is there a way to export a model directly from Model Manager as a STEP file without having to open it first?
I am pretty bad at Creo and was wondering if it is possible. I would prefer not to open a large model just to export it for another client to use in other CAD package (we send as STEP). Thank you.

LISP error when trying to add Lip to sheetmetal part
